Otkako je postavlje video nadzor na okolnim brdima manje je požara u neretvanskim močvarama. Iako su požari rijeđi ipak se dogode pa je tako vatra nedavno poharala ornitološki rezervat Kuti značajno močvarno područja za očuvanje bioraznolikosti, poglavito ptičjih vrsta. Posebno su kritična sušna razdoblja, za vrijeme niskih vodostaja i jakih vjetrova kada se u području delte rijeke Neretve javljaju nekontrolirani požari tršćaka i okolnog raslinja, koji za sobom ostavljaju velike štete i opožarene površine.

Požari za sobom ostavljaju degradirana močvarna staništa te neugledan krajobraz. Osim tršćaka i pripadajuće bioraznolikosti, u požarima vrlo često izgore obradive poljoprivredne površine, nasadi mandarina, maslinici, vinogradi, kućice u polju, plastenici. Zaostali dim u zraku ujedno narušava kvalitetu života za sve stanovnike i delte Neretve.

Tako se godinama se postavlja pitanje kako stati na kraj paliteljima koji u jesenskom i zimskom razdoblju koriste buru ili jugo da bi zapalili močvaru.

Međutim, anonimnim potpaljivačima vatre u močvari došao kraj jer većinu zaštićenih područja Delte Neretve nadziru kamere. Kamare su postavljene na Predolcu i na Babinoj Gomili (Rujnica), kojima se pokriva područje koje ne pokriva videonadzor Hrvatskih šuma. Glavni cilj je u suradnji sa lokalnom policijom i vatrogascima spriječiti požar trščaka u delti Neretve te otkriti i kazniti počinitelje.

- Video nadzor daje dobre rezultate. Prošle godine nismo imali namjernog potpaljivanja u močvari, dok smo nedavno imali požar na predjelu Kuti. Ističe zapovjednik Javne vatrogasne postrojbe Metković, Jure Pilj, koji naglašava da se detaljnim pregledom snimke nadzornih kamera može vidjeti tko potpaljuje vatru, premda ima nekoih lokaliteta koja ne pokrivaju nadzorne kamere a to je upravo predio Kuti koji je nedavno gorio.

Prema Zakonu o zaštiti požara, fizička osoba koja izazove požar kažnjava se novčanom kaznom u iznosu od 15 tisuća do 150 tisuća kuna ili zatvorom od 60 dana, dok je izazivanje požara iz nehaja kažnjivo novčanom kaznom od 2 tisuće kuna do 15 tisuća kuna. U slučaju dovođenja u opasnost života ili imovine, može se izreći zakonska kazna zatvora do 3 godine u slučaju da je djelo počinjeno iz nehaja, a ako je počinjeno s namjerom, propisana zatvorska kazna je od šest mjeseci do pet godina.

Podsjetimo, u okviru projekta Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine doline Neretve sufinanciranog kroz Operativni program konkurentnost i kohezija Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine uspostavljen je protupožarni sustava za videonadzor.

Na dvije lokacije, točnije na brdu Babina Gomila iznad naselja Desne i u području značajnog krajobraza Predolac-Šibenica, postavljene su kamere s pripadajućom opremom za nadzor i prevenciju od nastanka požara tršćaka i šumskih požara u području ekološke mreže Natura 2000 Delta Neretve, a sukladno Uredbi o ekološkoj mreži i nadležnostima javnih ustanova za upravljanje područjima ekološke mreže.

Područje delte Neretve jedno je od pet područja u Republici Hrvatskoj uvršteno na Ramsarski popis te predstavlja močvarno područje od međunarodne važnosti. Kamere su umrežene u sustav za nadzor požara, a pomoću kojeg područje nadzire Javna vatrogasna postrojba Metković.

Sustav videonadzora usredotočen je na prevenciju i ublažavanje šteta od prirodnih rizika i katastrofa od požara tršćaka i šumskih požara kroz poboljšanje, promicanje i jačanje institucionalnih kapaciteta u provedbi politika i aktivnosti radi smanjenja uzroka i potencijalnog početka prirodnih nepogoda. Poboljšat će se spremnost na reagiranje i intervenciju te smanjenje šteta uzrokovanih požarima u području ekološke mreže Natura 2000 i zaštićenim područjima delte Neretve (posebni ornitološki rezervat Orepak, posebni ornitološki rezervat Prud, posebni ornitološki rezervat Pod Gredom, značajni krajobraz Predolac-Šibenica, posebni ornitološko-ihtiološki rezervat Delta Neretve – jugoistočni dio, značajni krajobraz Modro oko i jezero Desne).

Otkako je postavlje video nadzor na okolnim brdima manje je požara u neretvanskim močvarama. Iako su požari rijeđi ipak se dogode pa je tako vatra nedavno poharala ornitološki rezervat Kuti značajno močvarno područja za očuvanje bioraznolikosti, poglavito ptičjih vrsta. Posebno su kritična sušna razdoblja, za vrijeme niskih vodostaja i jakih vjetrova kada se u području delte rijeke Neretve javljaju nekontrolirani požari tršćaka i okolnog raslinja, koji za sobom ostavljaju velike štete i opožarene površine.

Požari za sobom ostavljaju degradirana močvarna staništa te neugledan krajobraz. Osim tršćaka i pripadajuće bioraznolikosti, u požarima vrlo često izgore obradive poljoprivredne površine, nasadi mandarina, maslinici, vinogradi, kućice u polju, plastenici. Zaostali dim u zraku ujedno narušava kvalitetu života za sve stanovnike i delte Neretve.

Tako se godinama se postavlja pitanje kako stati na kraj paliteljima koji u jesenskom i zimskom razdoblju koriste buru ili jugo da bi zapalili močvaru.

Međutim, anonimnim potpaljivačima vatre u močvari došao kraj jer većinu zaštićenih područja Delte Neretve nadziru kamere. Kamare su postavljene na Predolcu i na Babinoj Gomili (Rujnica), kojima se pokriva područje koje ne pokriva videonadzor Hrvatskih šuma. Glavni cilj je u suradnji sa lokalnom policijom i vatrogascima spriječiti požar trščaka u delti Neretve te otkriti i kazniti počinitelje.

- Video nadzor daje dobre rezultate. Prošle godine nismo imali namjernog potpaljivanja u močvari, dok smo nedavno imali požar na predjelu Kuti. Ističe zapovjednik Javne vatrogasne postrojbe Metković, Jure Pilj, koji naglašava da se detaljnim pregledom snimke nadzornih kamera može vidjeti tko potpaljuje vatru, premda ima nekoih lokaliteta koja ne pokrivaju nadzorne kamere a to je upravo predio Kuti koji je nedavno gorio.

Prema Zakonu o zaštiti požara, fizička osoba koja izazove požar kažnjava se novčanom kaznom u iznosu od 15 tisuća do 150 tisuća kuna ili zatvorom od 60 dana, dok je izazivanje požara iz nehaja kažnjivo novčanom kaznom od 2 tisuće kuna do 15 tisuća kuna. U slučaju dovođenja u opasnost života ili imovine, može se izreći zakonska kazna zatvora do 3 godine u slučaju da je djelo počinjeno iz nehaja, a ako je počinjeno s namjerom, propisana zatvorska kazna je od šest mjeseci do pet godina.

Podsjetimo, u okviru projekta Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine doline Neretve sufinanciranog kroz Operativni program konkurentnost i kohezija Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine uspostavljen je protupožarni sustava za videonadzor.

Na dvije lokacije, točnije na brdu Babina Gomila iznad naselja Desne i u području značajnog krajobraza Predolac-Šibenica, postavljene su kamere s pripadajućom opremom za nadzor i prevenciju od nastanka požara tršćaka i šumskih požara u području ekološke mreže Natura 2000 Delta Neretve, a sukladno Uredbi o ekološkoj mreži i nadležnostima javnih ustanova za upravljanje područjima ekološke mreže.

Područje delte Neretve jedno je od pet područja u Republici Hrvatskoj uvršteno na Ramsarski popis te predstavlja močvarno područje od međunarodne važnosti. Kamere su umrežene u sustav za nadzor požara, a pomoću kojeg područje nadzire Javna vatrogasna postrojba Metković.

Sustav videonadzora usredotočen je na prevenciju i ublažavanje šteta od prirodnih rizika i katastrofa od požara tršćaka i šumskih požara kroz poboljšanje, promicanje i jačanje institucionalnih kapaciteta u provedbi politika i aktivnosti radi smanjenja uzroka i potencijalnog početka prirodnih nepogoda. Poboljšat će se spremnost na reagiranje i intervenciju te smanjenje šteta uzrokovanih požarima u području ekološke mreže Natura 2000 i zaštićenim područjima delte Neretve (posebni ornitološki rezervat Orepak, posebni ornitološki rezervat Prud, posebni ornitološki rezervat Pod Gredom, značajni krajobraz Predolac-Šibenica, posebni ornitološko-ihtiološki rezervat Delta Neretve – jugoistočni dio, značajni krajobraz Modro oko i jezero Desne).
