Projekt Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje predstavljen je na tematskoj konferenciji koju su u  Europskom parlamentu u Bruxellesu organizirali  EU zastupnica  Željana Zovko i Međuskupina EP-a za europsko kulturno nasljeđe, Put sv. Jakova i druge europske kulturne rute.

Konferencija je privukla značajan broj predstavnika europskih institucija, a na njoj je prezentirana hrvatska Camino baština, primjeri dobre prakse te dosadašnja postignuća  projekta Camino Hrvatska. Camino Hrvatska dio je europske mreže puteva sv. Jakova. pod zaštitom UNESCO-a i Vijeća Europe, koji vode u Santiago de Compostelu i kojima godišnje po Europi hoda preko 1,5 milijuna ljudi.

U uvodnom izlaganju Željana Zovko je istaknula primjer Španjolske i način na kako se kroz lokalnu, regionalnu i nacionalnu suradnju, na razvoju i promociju Camina ostvaruju iznimni pozitivni učinci na kulturu i turizam  Po istraživanjima regionalne vlade Galicije, svaki euro javne investicije u Camino bilježi stopu povrata od preko 400 posto.  

Državna tajnica u Ministarstvu regionalnog razvoja i fondova EU Zrinka Raguž, govorila je o potencijalu ovog projekta za ruralni razvoj dubrovačkog zaleđa, unaprjeđenje turističke ponude i disperziju turista, što se uklapa u dubrovački projekt Respect the City.

Na konferenciji su još izlaganja imali i predsjednik Međuskupine EP-a Francisco Millan Mon, Gabrielle Bernoville iz Europske komisije, Stefano Dominioni iz Vijeća Europe.

Hrvatska Bratovština sv. Jakova predstavila je brojnim sudionicima konferencije, predstavnicima više europskih institucija, detalje projekta Camino Hrvatska čijim je rutama lani hodalo preko tri tisuće ljudi iz cijele Europe, ali i Kanade, SAD, Južne Afrike i Australije. Najavljena je i velika manifestacija “Adria Camino Festival” koja će se od 2. do 5. svibnja 2024. održati u Puli, na kojoj se očekuje preko 400 sudionika, predstavnika europskih institucija te camino udruga.

Ante Blažević, predsjednik hrvatske Bratovštine sv. Jakova, kazao je kako ”ovako snažna podrška predstavnika europskih institucija, predstavlja izniman poticaj za daljni razvoj hrvatskog dijela europske mreže Puteva sv. Jakova i predstavljanje bogate hrvatske kulturne baštine.”

Inače, Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje projekt je koji se realizira u suradnji Grada Dubrovnika i Bratovštine sv. Jakova, službenog hrvatskog predstavnika u središnjoj i najstarijoj Camino instituciji - Nadbratovštini sv. Jakova u Španjolskoj. Dubrovački Camino sadrži šest etapa ukupne dužine 147 kilometara, a sporazum o suradnji na ovom projektu Grad Dubrovnik potpisao je s općinama Dubrovačko primorje, Ravno, Neum, Čitluk te gradom Čapljinom. Prema planu, dubrovački Camino trebao bi biti otvoren za posjetitelje do svibnja 2024.godine.

Projekt Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje predstavljen je na tematskoj konferenciji koju su u  Europskom parlamentu u Bruxellesu organizirali  EU zastupnica  Željana Zovko i Međuskupina EP-a za europsko kulturno nasljeđe, Put sv. Jakova i druge europske kulturne rute.

Konferencija je privukla značajan broj predstavnika europskih institucija, a na njoj je prezentirana hrvatska Camino baština, primjeri dobre prakse te dosadašnja postignuća  projekta Camino Hrvatska. Camino Hrvatska dio je europske mreže puteva sv. Jakova. pod zaštitom UNESCO-a i Vijeća Europe, koji vode u Santiago de Compostelu i kojima godišnje po Europi hoda preko 1,5 milijuna ljudi.

U uvodnom izlaganju Željana Zovko je istaknula primjer Španjolske i način na kako se kroz lokalnu, regionalnu i nacionalnu suradnju, na razvoju i promociju Camina ostvaruju iznimni pozitivni učinci na kulturu i turizam  Po istraživanjima regionalne vlade Galicije, svaki euro javne investicije u Camino bilježi stopu povrata od preko 400 posto.  

Državna tajnica u Ministarstvu regionalnog razvoja i fondova EU Zrinka Raguž, govorila je o potencijalu ovog projekta za ruralni razvoj dubrovačkog zaleđa, unaprjeđenje turističke ponude i disperziju turista, što se uklapa u dubrovački projekt Respect the City.

Na konferenciji su još izlaganja imali i predsjednik Međuskupine EP-a Francisco Millan Mon, Gabrielle Bernoville iz Europske komisije, Stefano Dominioni iz Vijeća Europe.

Hrvatska Bratovština sv. Jakova predstavila je brojnim sudionicima konferencije, predstavnicima više europskih institucija, detalje projekta Camino Hrvatska čijim je rutama lani hodalo preko tri tisuće ljudi iz cijele Europe, ali i Kanade, SAD, Južne Afrike i Australije. Najavljena je i velika manifestacija “Adria Camino Festival” koja će se od 2. do 5. svibnja 2024. održati u Puli, na kojoj se očekuje preko 400 sudionika, predstavnika europskih institucija te camino udruga.

Ante Blažević, predsjednik hrvatske Bratovštine sv. Jakova, kazao je kako ”ovako snažna podrška predstavnika europskih institucija, predstavlja izniman poticaj za daljni razvoj hrvatskog dijela europske mreže Puteva sv. Jakova i predstavljanje bogate hrvatske kulturne baštine.”

Inače, Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje projekt je koji se realizira u suradnji Grada Dubrovnika i Bratovštine sv. Jakova, službenog hrvatskog predstavnika u središnjoj i najstarijoj Camino instituciji - Nadbratovštini sv. Jakova u Španjolskoj. Dubrovački Camino sadrži šest etapa ukupne dužine 147 kilometara, a sporazum o suradnji na ovom projektu Grad Dubrovnik potpisao je s općinama Dubrovačko primorje, Ravno, Neum, Čitluk te gradom Čapljinom. Projekt Camino Dubrovnik - Međugorje predstavljen u Europskom parlamentu

Projekt Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje predstavljen je na tematskoj konferenciji koju su u  Europskom parlamentu u Bruxellesu organizirali  EU zastupnica  Željana Zovko i Međuskupina EP-a za europsko kulturno nasljeđe, Put sv. Jakova i druge europske kulturne rute.

Konferencija je privukla značajan broj predstavnika europskih institucija, a na njoj je prezentirana hrvatska Camino baština, primjeri dobre prakse te dosadašnja postignuća  projekta Camino Hrvatska. Camino Hrvatska dio je europske mreže puteva sv. Jakova. pod zaštitom UNESCO-a i Vijeća Europe, koji vode u Santiago de Compostelu i kojima godišnje po Europi hoda preko 1,5 milijuna ljudi.

U uvodnom izlaganju Željana Zovko je istaknula primjer Španjolske i način na kako se kroz lokalnu, regionalnu i nacionalnu suradnju, na razvoju i promociju Camina ostvaruju iznimni pozitivni učinci na kulturu i turizam  Po istraživanjima regionalne vlade Galicije, svaki euro javne investicije u Camino bilježi stopu povrata od preko 400 posto.  

Državna tajnica u Ministarstvu regionalnog razvoja i fondova EU Zrinka Raguž, govorila je o potencijalu ovog projekta za ruralni razvoj dubrovačkog zaleđa, unaprjeđenje turističke ponude i disperziju turista, što se uklapa u dubrovački projekt Respect the City.

Na konferenciji su još izlaganja imali i predsjednik Međuskupine EP-a Francisco Millan Mon, Gabrielle Bernoville iz Europske komisije, Stefano Dominioni iz Vijeća Europe.

Hrvatska Bratovština sv. Jakova predstavila je brojnim sudionicima konferencije, predstavnicima više europskih institucija, detalje projekta Camino Hrvatska čijim je rutama lani hodalo preko tri tisuće ljudi iz cijele Europe, ali i Kanade, SAD, Južne Afrike i Australije. Najavljena je i velika manifestacija “Adria Camino Festival” koja će se od 2. do 5. svibnja 2024. održati u Puli, na kojoj se očekuje preko 400 sudionika, predstavnika europskih institucija te camino udruga.

Ante Blažević, predsjednik hrvatske Bratovštine sv. Jakova, kazao je kako ”ovako snažna podrška predstavnika europskih institucija, predstavlja izniman poticaj za daljni razvoj hrvatskog dijela europske mreže Puteva sv. Jakova i predstavljanje bogate hrvatske kulturne baštine.”

Inače, Camino Dubrovnik-Međugorje projekt je koji se realizira u suradnji Grada Dubrovnika i Bratovštine sv. Jakova, službenog hrvatskog predstavnika u središnjoj i najstarijoj Camino instituciji - Nadbratovštini sv. Jakova u Španjolskoj. Dubrovački Camino sadrži šest etapa ukupne dužine 147 kilometara, a sporazum o suradnji na ovom projektu Grad Dubrovnik potpisao je s općinama Dubrovačko primorje, Ravno, Neum, Čitluk te gradom Čapljinom. Prema planu, dubrovački Camino trebao bi biti otvoren za posjetitelje do svibnja 2024.godine.
