U organizaciji baltičke mreže Cruise Baltic zamjenica gradonačelnika Grada Dubrovnika Jelka Tepšić sudjelovala je u Kopenhagenu na konferenciji pod nazivom „Sustainable cruising“.
U središtu konferencije koja se održala u glavnom gradu Danske bile su teme poput daljnjih poboljšanja u pogledu potencijala industrije krstarenja, odgovornog upravljanja destinacijom te stvaranje učinkovitih mjera usmjerenih prema smanjenjima gužvi u turističkim i kruzerskim odredištima.
Zamjenica Tepšić u svom je izlaganju prisutnima predstavila multidisciplinarni strateški projekt „Respect the City“ čiji je cilj kroz suradnju dionika i kombinaciju mjera i rješenja u kontinuitetu smanjiti negativne učinke prekomjernog turizma upravljajući glavnom gospodarskom granom na pametan i odgovoran način. Istaknula je kako je osnovna svrha inicijative očuvati kulturno - povjesnu baštinu, kvalitetan svakodnevni život građana te osigurati najbolje iskustvo Dubrovnika svim posjetiteljima.
Govorivši o cruise turizmu i krstarenjima na Mediteranu, zamjenica je u ovoj prigodi naglasila kako je upravo je kroz projekt Poštujmo grad oslanjajući se pritom na odgovorni destinacijski menadžment gradska uprava uspostavila izvrsnu suradnju sa CLIA-om, krovnim udruženjem kruzing industrije. „Partnerstvo s CLI-om osiguralo je ono najvažnije, a to je da Dubrovnik postigne bolju organiziranost na terenu kada je riječ rasporedu ticanja kruzera, komunikaciji s cruise kompanijama i kontroliranju protoka turista, što značajno utječe na oblikovanje pozitivnog imidža destinacije“, istaknula je.
„Globalno vijeće za održivi turizam (GSTC) 2019. godine provelo je ocjenu odredišta koje je obuhvatilo procjene stanja odredišne politike, uključivanja i koristi zajednice, upravljanja kulturnim i prirodnim dobrima, te upravljanje okolišnim i prirodnim resursima. Na njihovoj skali kojom se procjenjuje ukupna izvedba odredišta u održivosti, Grad Dubrovnik je ostvario izvrsnih 70 posto, što je jasno pokazalo značajan angažman dionika i predanost procesu u rješavanju izazova koji dovode do trajne održivosti“, zaključila je zamjenica Tepšić.
Važno je za naglasiti kako je na današnjoj konferenciji koja je okupila brojne turističke stručnjake Dubrovnik nakon Paneuropskog dijaloga o krstarenju, održanog početkom ožujka u Bruxellesu još jednom istaknut kao primjer dobre prakse u Europi i svijetu, koji temeljito i učinkovito koristeći brojne alate uspješno provodi mjere s ciljem ostvarivanja održivih oblika turizma.
Kao doprinos poboljšanju utjecaja industrije krstarenja na okoliš u nadolazećim razdobljima, na kraju konferencije predstavnici devetnaest cruise kompanija potpisivanjem Memoranduma o razumijevanju obvezali su se na upotrebu shore power sistema koje podrazumijeva korištenje opskrbe električnom energijom na kopnu koju pružaju odredišne luke. Memorandum je to u kojem se od vodećih kompanija za krstarenje traži da se najkasnije do 1. siječnja 2024. obvežu na korištenje shore power sistema na kopnu koju pružaju luke u Baltičkom moru. Lučka uprava Dubrovnik također se priprema na upotrebu navedenog čime bi osigurali opskrbu električne energije s obale kruzerima koji će uplovljavati na krajnji jug Hrvatske.

U organizaciji baltičke mreže Cruise Baltic zamjenica gradonačelnika Grada Dubrovnika Jelka Tepšić sudjelovala je u Kopenhagenu na konferenciji pod nazivom „Sustainable cruising“.
U središtu konferencije koja se održala u glavnom gradu Danske bile su teme poput daljnjih poboljšanja u pogledu potencijala industrije krstarenja, odgovornog upravljanja destinacijom te stvaranje učinkovitih mjera usmjerenih prema smanjenjima gužvi u turističkim i kruzerskim odredištima.
Zamjenica Tepšić u svom je izlaganju prisutnima predstavila multidisciplinarni strateški projekt „Respect the City“ čiji je cilj kroz suradnju dionika i kombinaciju mjera i rješenja u kontinuitetu smanjiti negativne učinke prekomjernog turizma upravljajući glavnom gospodarskom granom na pametan i odgovoran način. Istaknula je kako je osnovna svrha inicijative očuvati kulturno - povjesnu baštinu, kvalitetan svakodnevni život građana te osigurati najbolje iskustvo Dubrovnika svim posjetiteljima.
Govorivši o cruise turizmu i krstarenjima na Mediteranu, zamjenica je u ovoj prigodi naglasila kako je upravo je kroz projekt Poštujmo grad oslanjajući se pritom na odgovorni destinacijski menadžment gradska uprava uspostavila izvrsnu suradnju sa CLIA-om, krovnim udruženjem kruzing industrije. „Partnerstvo s CLI-om osiguralo je ono najvažnije, a to je da Dubrovnik postigne bolju organiziranost na terenu kada je riječ rasporedu ticanja kruzera, komunikaciji s cruise kompanijama i kontroliranju protoka turista, što značajno utječe na oblikovanje pozitivnog imidža destinacije“, istaknula je.
„Globalno vijeće za održivi turizam (GSTC) 2019. godine provelo je ocjenu odredišta koje je obuhvatilo procjene stanja odredišne politike, uključivanja i koristi zajednice, upravljanja kulturnim i prirodnim dobrima, te upravljanje okolišnim i prirodnim resursima. Na njihovoj skali kojom se procjenjuje ukupna izvedba odredišta u održivosti, Grad Dubrovnik je ostvario izvrsnih 70 posto, što je jasno pokazalo značajan angažman dionika i predanost procesu u rješavanju izazova koji dovode do trajne održivosti“, zaključila je zamjenica Tepšić.
Važno je za naglasiti kako je na današnjoj konferenciji koja je okupila brojne turističke stručnjake Dubrovnik nakon Paneuropskog dijaloga o krstarenju, održanog početkom ožujka u Bruxellesu još jednom istaknut kao primjer dobre prakse u Europi i svijetu, koji temeljito i učinkovito koristeći brojne alate uspješno provodi mjere s ciljem ostvarivanja održivih oblika turizma.
Kao doprinos poboljšanju utjecaja industrije krstarenja na okoliš u nadolazećim razdobljima, na kraju konferencije predstavnici devetnaest cruise kompanija potpisivanjem Memoranduma o razumijevanju obvezali su se na upotrebu shore power sistema koje podrazumijeva korištenje opskrbe električnom energijom na kopnu koju pružaju odredišne luke. Memorandum je to u kojem se od vodećih kompanija za krstarenje traži da se najkasnije do 1. siječnja 2024. obvežu na korištenje shore power sistema na kopnu koju pružaju luke u Baltičkom moru. Lučka uprava Dubrovnik također se priprema na upotrebu navedenog čime bi osigurali opskrbu električne energije s obale kruzerima koji će uplovljavati na krajnji jug Hrvatske.
