"Oprostite, možete li nam reći koji je najbrži put pješke do (staroga) Grada," upitala me je grupa turista odjevena u ljetnu odjeću dok sam ja bio zakaputan do grla, okrećući glavu i pokušavajući izbjeći udare bure po licu. Da, da, turistička sezona počela je na krajnjem jugu Lijepe naše, šugamani se prostiru po plažama, kafići su se počeli širiti po ulicama i trgovima, dok su ceste sve zakrčenije.

Kreću strka i frka

Kolektivni zimski san je završen. Jesmo li spremni za sezonu? Jesmo li ikad spremni? Prije negoli krene cijela strka-frka koju donose ljetni mjeseci, htio bih s vama podijeliti par mojih predviđanja. Bez sumnje pred nama je vrlo uspješna turistička sezona, tako da to neću uključiti na listu.

Ali, zato je ovdje nekoliko drugih, pa da vidimo hoće li se obistiniti. 1) Oh, pa toliko je cijena kave? Prelazak na euro protekao je prilično glatko. Osobno, ja sam već zaboravio na kune. Postoji dosta pozitivnih stvari u vezi s uvođenjem eura, međutim, ima i ona jedna koja nas je zasad mimoišla. Turisti su kune trošili kao novac u Monopolyju. Sa svim tim visokim apoenima i brojkama nisu baš preračunavali u vlastite valute. S obzirom na to da je euro približne vrijednosti kao dolar ili funta sad će imati "pravi" osjećaj koliko nešto košta. "Četiri eura za kavu, to nije jeftino," predviđam takav komentar.

A dosad je bilo "30 kuna za kavu, to je razumna cijena". 2) Tamna strana Schengena. Naša županija je aviodestinacija. Dok su otvorena granica Istri i Zagrebu bez sumnje od velike koristi, mi bismo se zbog toga mogli namučiti, barem na početku. Vijesti o ogromnim redovima u Doveru koji su za Uskrs trajali po cijeli dan dok su Britanci prelazili Kanal kao bi ušli u Francusku, mogli bi se dogoditi i ovdje kod nas.

Opet brojimo ‘glave‘

Najbrojniji gosti u Dubrovniku su Britanci i sve njihove putovnice moraju biti a) ovjerene s žigom i b) skenirane na kompjutoru, što će znatno usporiti proceduru njihova ulaska u zemlju. Zamislite sad tri aviona Britanaca kako jedan za drugim slijeću na dubrovački aerodrom i sve putnike koji trebaju proći kontrolu. Možemo očekivati redove jednake onima za Uskrs na Kanalu te isto tako naslove o ogromnim gužvama. 3) Zakrčenje na Srđu.

Ovo je specifično za našu mikrolokaciju. I proces je već započeo. Prošli tjedan sam zbog posla išao na Srđ i bilo je krcato. Ništa nova. Međutim, ono što svakako "bode oči" prometni je kolaps na glavnoj cesti. Cijela flota crnih kombija, nakrcanih turistima čekala je u dugačkom redu kako bi skrenula lijevo i krenula uskom cestom prema vrhu. Planovi za brzu cestu između zračne luke i Grada još su uvijek samo na papiru, dok je prometni kaos stvaran. I bit će još gore. 4) Nepotrebne usporedbe. Kao što sam već napisao očigledno je pred nama vrlo dobra poslovna godina, ali mislim da zaista moramo promijeniti način kako mjerimo uspješnost.

Usporedba količine ljudi (ili njihovo prebrojavanje) je besmisleno, a posebno jer su posljednje godine bile specifične. "Ovogodišnje turističke brojke rasti će za 20 posto što će Hrvatskoj donijeti rekordnu turističku sezonu," naslovi su koje predviđam.

Postoji li način da umjesto pukog prebrojavanja "glava" uspjeh mjerimo količinom zadovoljstva turista? 5) Kraj influencera. Vrijeme (i fotografije) na kojima brojne influencerice ističu svoje grudi i stražnjice na jedva vidjivim lokacijama u kutku fotografije je gotovo. Tomu je došao kraj i u mnogim drugim turističkim odredištima. Uvijek se radilo o samopromociji, a znatno manje o promociji turističkog odredišta.

Opametile su se i turističke agencije. "Nećemo više besplatno ugošćivati nikakve influencere i "zvijezde" s Instagrama, to je gubitak prostora," rekao mi je jedan direktor hotela. Adio influenceri.

To bi bilo pet mojih a la Nostradamus proročanstava za ovu sezonu. One očigledne stvari, poput kruzera ili parkinga nisam ni spomenuo jer je to već predviđeno. Nadam se da sam u krivu. A bojim se da nisam. Najbolji način predviđanja budućnosti je proučavanje povijesti.

"Oprostite, možete li nam reći koji je najbrži put pješke do (staroga) Grada," upitala me je grupa turista odjevena u ljetnu odjeću dok sam ja bio zakaputan do grla, okrećući glavu i pokušavajući izbjeći udare bure po licu. Da, da, turistička sezona počela je na krajnjem jugu Lijepe naše, šugamani se prostiru po plažama, kafići su se počeli širiti po ulicama i trgovima, dok su ceste sve zakrčenije.

Kreću strka i frka

Kolektivni zimski san je završen. Jesmo li spremni za sezonu? Jesmo li ikad spremni? Prije negoli krene cijela strka-frka koju donose ljetni mjeseci, htio bih s vama podijeliti par mojih predviđanja. Bez sumnje pred nama je vrlo uspješna turistička sezona, tako da to neću uključiti na listu.

Ali, zato je ovdje nekoliko drugih, pa da vidimo hoće li se obistiniti. 1) Oh, pa toliko je cijena kave? Prelazak na euro protekao je prilično glatko. Osobno, ja sam već zaboravio na kune. Postoji dosta pozitivnih stvari u vezi s uvođenjem eura, međutim, ima i ona jedna koja nas je zasad mimoišla. Turisti su kune trošili kao novac u Monopolyju. Sa svim tim visokim apoenima i brojkama nisu baš preračunavali u vlastite valute. S obzirom na to da je euro približne vrijednosti kao dolar ili funta sad će imati "pravi" osjećaj koliko nešto košta. "Četiri eura za kavu, to nije jeftino," predviđam takav komentar.

A dosad je bilo "30 kuna za kavu, to je razumna cijena". 2) Tamna strana Schengena. Naša županija je aviodestinacija. Dok su otvorena granica Istri i Zagrebu bez sumnje od velike koristi, mi bismo se zbog toga mogli namučiti, barem na početku. Vijesti o ogromnim redovima u Doveru koji su za Uskrs trajali po cijeli dan dok su Britanci prelazili Kanal kao bi ušli u Francusku, mogli bi se dogoditi i ovdje kod nas.

Opet brojimo ‘glave‘

Najbrojniji gosti u Dubrovniku su Britanci i sve njihove putovnice moraju biti a) ovjerene s žigom i b) skenirane na kompjutoru, što će znatno usporiti proceduru njihova ulaska u zemlju. Zamislite sad tri aviona Britanaca kako jedan za drugim slijeću na dubrovački aerodrom i sve putnike koji trebaju proći kontrolu. Možemo očekivati redove jednake onima za Uskrs na Kanalu te isto tako naslove o ogromnim gužvama. 3) Zakrčenje na Srđu.

Ovo je specifično za našu mikrolokaciju. I proces je već započeo. Prošli tjedan sam zbog posla išao na Srđ i bilo je krcato. Ništa nova. Međutim, ono što svakako "bode oči" prometni je kolaps na glavnoj cesti. Cijela flota crnih kombija, nakrcanih turistima čekala je u dugačkom redu kako bi skrenula lijevo i krenula uskom cestom prema vrhu. Planovi za brzu cestu između zračne luke i Grada još su uvijek samo na papiru, dok je prometni kaos stvaran. I bit će još gore. 4) Nepotrebne usporedbe. Kao što sam već napisao očigledno je pred nama vrlo dobra poslovna godina, ali mislim da zaista moramo promijeniti način kako mjerimo uspješnost.

Usporedba količine ljudi (ili njihovo prebrojavanje) je besmisleno, a posebno jer su posljednje godine bile specifične. "Ovogodišnje turističke brojke rasti će za 20 posto što će Hrvatskoj donijeti rekordnu turističku sezonu," naslovi su koje predviđam.

Postoji li način da umjesto pukog prebrojavanja "glava" uspjeh mjerimo količinom zadovoljstva turista? 5) Kraj influencera. Vrijeme (i fotografije) na kojima brojne influencerice ističu svoje grudi i stražnjice na jedva vidjivim lokacijama u kutku fotografije je gotovo. Tomu je došao kraj i u mnogim drugim turističkim odredištima. Uvijek se radilo o samopromociji, a znatno manje o promociji turističkog odredišta.

Opametile su se i turističke agencije. "Nećemo više besplatno ugošćivati nikakve influencere i "zvijezde" s Instagrama, to je gubitak prostora," rekao mi je jedan direktor hotela. Adio influenceri.

To bi bilo pet mojih a la Nostradamus proročanstava za ovu sezonu. One očigledne stvari, poput kruzera ili parkinga nisam ni spomenuo jer je to već predviđeno. Nadam se da sam u krivu. A bojim se da nisam. Najbolji način predviđanja budućnosti je proučavanje povijesti.
