Rusija i Kina ovaj tjedan započinju niz vojnih vježbi, što je znak produbljivanja veza Moskve s Pekingom, piše Financial Times. Te vježbe jednako su jasan pokazatelj kako Kremlj želi svijetu odaslati poruku da se za njih nastavlja "sve po starom", unatoč sve većim troškovima rata u Ukrajini.

Ratne igre Vostok, koje počinju u četvrtak, održavaju se svake četiri godine na dalekom istoku Rusije. Prije četiri godine na ratnim igrama sudjelovalo je 300.000 ruskih vojnika koji su pokazali svoje ratničke vještine rame uz rame s kolegama iz Kine i Mongolije, prenosi Jutarnji.

Zapadni dužnosnici i obrambeni analitičari slažu se da ove vježbe najbolje ilustriraju "prijateljstvo bez granica" koje su si predsjednici Vladimir Putin i Xi Jinping obećali neposredno prije izbijanja rata u Ukrajini. Ratne igre također naglašavaju sposobnost Kremlja da održava veze s drugim nezapadnim saveznicima, uključujući Bjelorusiju i Indiju, koje će se pridružiti vježbama, dodaje Financial Times.

Istočne igre

Peking je naglasio kako kinesko sudjelovanje u vježbama Vostok "nije povezano s trenutnom međunarodnom i regionalnom situacijom". Valja naglasiti kako su zadnje zajedničke vojne igre Rusija i Kina održane prošle godine u Kini. Washington je pak priopćio da ne vidi nikakav poseban značaj u najnovijim vježbama. No neki su visoki dužnosnici ipak sumnjičavi.

"Činjenica da Vostok na ruskom znači ‘istok‘ govori vam sve što trebate znati", rekao je za Financial Times neimenovani savjetnik za obranu jedne zapadne sile. Ukazao je i na potporu Moskve Pekingu kada je predsjednica Predstavničkog doma američkog Kongresa Nancy Pelosi posjetila Tajvan, koji Kina smatra otpadničkom provincijom. Vladimir Putin je tad Pelosijevo putovanje na Tajvan opisao kao "pomno planiranu provokaciju".

“Rusija je izgubila propagandni rat na zapadu, no Putin sada poručuje istoku kako se život u Rusiji nije nimalo promijenio i da je Rusija ostala snažna sila koja će pobijediti u Ukrajini“ dodao je savjetnik.

S obzirom na to da se procjenjuje kako se čak tri četvrtine ruske vojske bori u Ukrajini, analitičari kažu da vježbe nisu ništa više od predvidljive predstave za javnost. Premda bi njihovo otkazivanje poslalo pogrešan signal, dodali su, niti njihovo održavanje neće biti od strateške koristi.

"Vojne vježbe Vostok danas nemaju smisla. Gotovo sve ruske borbeno sposobne jedinice angažirane su u ratu u Ukrajini. Samo se pretvaramo da je još uvijek sve u redu", rekao je Pavel Lužin, neovisni ruski vojni analitičar.

Ben Barry, viši suradnik u think-tanku Međunarodnog instituta za strateške studije, rekao je da Moskva " izlaže svoje artikle u izlogu u prizemlju, dok na gornjim katovima iste te zgrade bukti požar".

Kritike unutar redova

Putin se prošloga tjedna na otvaranju sajma oružja u Moskvi pohvalio kako je ruska vojska "desetljećima ispred" svojih konkurenata i da je spreman svoju tehnologiju podijeliti sa saveznicima.

Međutim, Ruslan Pukhov, vojni analitičar i član javnog vijeća ruskog ministarstva obrane, kritizirao je oružane snage jer "nemaju dovoljno visokopreciznog oružja i moderne nišanske opreme" u Ukrajini.

- Upravo zbog toga su nas često Ukrajinci pobjeđivali u topničkim dvobojima”, rekao je Pukhov u nedavnom intervjuu, neuobičajeno kritičkog tona za osobu koji radi za državu.

Iako su neka od ruskih oružja u rangu s vodećim zapadnim tehnologijama (poput sustava protuzračne obrane S-400) nedostatak zapadnih komponenti ugrozio je tehničke kapacitete industrije i naštetio izvozu oružja, kažu analitičari.

“Ruska vojna industrija u dubokoj je krizi najmanje šest godina i neće preživjeti sadašnje sankcije”, zaključio je Lužin.

Rusija i Kina ovaj tjedan započinju niz vojnih vježbi, što je znak produbljivanja veza Moskve s Pekingom, piše Financial Times. Te vježbe jednako su jasan pokazatelj kako Kremlj želi svijetu odaslati poruku da se za njih nastavlja "sve po starom", unatoč sve većim troškovima rata u Ukrajini.

Ratne igre Vostok, koje počinju u četvrtak, održavaju se svake četiri godine na dalekom istoku Rusije. Prije četiri godine na ratnim igrama sudjelovalo je 300.000 ruskih vojnika koji su pokazali svoje ratničke vještine rame uz rame s kolegama iz Kine i Mongolije, prenosi Jutarnji.

Peking je naglasio kako kinesko sudjelovanje u vježbama Vostok "nije povezano s trenutnom međunarodnom i regionalnom situacijom". Valja naglasiti kako su zadnje zajedničke vojne igre Rusija i Kina održane prošle godine u Kini. Washington je pak priopćio da ne vidi nikakav poseban značaj u najnovijim vježbama. No neki su visoki dužnosnici ipak sumnjičavi.

"Činjenica da Vostok na ruskom znači ‘istok‘ govori vam sve što trebate znati", rekao je za Financial Times neimenovani savjetnik za obranu jedne zapadne sile. Ukazao je i na potporu Moskve Pekingu kada je predsjednica Predstavničkog doma američkog Kongresa Nancy Pelosi posjetila Tajvan, koji Kina smatra otpadničkom provincijom. Vladimir Putin je tad Pelosijevo putovanje na Tajvan opisao kao "pomno planiranu provokaciju".

“Rusija je izgubila propagandni rat na zapadu, no Putin sada poručuje istoku kako se život u Rusiji nije nimalo promijenio i da je Rusija ostala snažna sila koja će pobijediti u Ukrajini“ dodao je savjetnik.

S obzirom na to da se procjenjuje kako se čak tri četvrtine ruske vojske bori u Ukrajini, analitičari kažu da vježbe nisu ništa više od predvidljive predstave za javnost. Premda bi njihovo otkazivanje poslalo pogrešan signal, dodali su, niti njihovo održavanje neće biti od strateške koristi.

"Vojne vježbe Vostok danas nemaju smisla. Gotovo sve ruske borbeno sposobne jedinice angažirane su u ratu u Ukrajini. Samo se pretvaramo da je još uvijek sve u redu", rekao je Pavel Lužin, neovisni ruski vojni analitičar.

Ben Barry, viši suradnik u think-tanku Međunarodnog instituta za strateške studije, rekao je da Moskva " izlaže svoje artikle u izlogu u prizemlju, dok na gornjim katovima iste te zgrade bukti požar".

Kritike unutar redova

Putin se prošloga tjedna na otvaranju sajma oružja u Moskvi pohvalio kako je ruska vojska "desetljećima ispred" svojih konkurenata i da je spreman svoju tehnologiju podijeliti sa saveznicima.

Međutim, Ruslan Pukhov, vojni analitičar i član javnog vijeća ruskog ministarstva obrane, kritizirao je oružane snage jer "nemaju dovoljno visokopreciznog oružja i moderne nišanske opreme" u Ukrajini.

- Upravo zbog toga su nas često Ukrajinci pobjeđivali u topničkim dvobojima”, rekao je Pukhov u nedavnom intervjuu, neuobičajeno kritičkog tona za osobu koji radi za državu.

Iako su neka od ruskih oružja u rangu s vodećim zapadnim tehnologijama (poput sustava protuzračne obrane S-400) nedostatak zapadnih komponenti ugrozio je tehničke kapacitete industrije i naštetio izvozu oružja, kažu analitičari.

“Ruska vojna industrija u dubokoj je krizi najmanje šest godina i neće preživjeti sadašnje sankcije”, zaključio je Lužin.

Rusija i Kina ovaj tjedan započinju niz vojnih vježbi, što je znak produbljivanja veza Moskve s Pekingom, piše Financial Times. Te vježbe jednako su jasan pokazatelj kako Kremlj želi svijetu odaslati poruku da se za njih nastavlja "sve po starom", unatoč sve većim troškovima rata u Ukrajini.

Ratne igre Vostok, koje počinju u četvrtak, održavaju se svake četiri godine na dalekom istoku Rusije. Prije četiri godine na ratnim igrama sudjelovalo je 300.000 ruskih vojnika koji su pokazali svoje ratničke vještine rame uz rame s kolegama iz Kine i Mongolije, prenosi Jutarnji.
