- Dijelimo sudbinu cijele Europe i SAD-a gdje je sada počela pandemija omikrona. Mi još imamo problem i s deltom, na to je došao i omikron (...) Kako donosi HRT, hospitaliziranih je, dodala je, kao u drugom i trećem valu, oko 65 pacijenata na bolničkom je liječenju, a na intenzivnoj ih je 5.
- Nesretni smo jer su to u pravilu necijepljene, starije osobe s komorbiditetima. Razlog zašto su u bolnici njihov je necijepni status. Vrlo smo nesretni, rekla je.
Kaže da takve pacijente pitaju zašto nisu cijepljeni, često odgovaraju da ih je bilo strah jer su stari i teško bolesni.
- To nisu osobe s Facebooka, tu društvene mreže nisu imale utjecaja. Taj nepotrebni strah koji je prisutan kod starijih doveo je do toga da imamo tako velike brojeve u bolnici, rekla je.
U europskim zemljama u kojima je procijepljenost velika, dodala je, hospitalizacija ne prati velik broj zaraženih osoba.
- Daleko je smanjena smrtnost u ovom valu u odnosu na prijašnje. Nažalost, u Hrvatskoj nije takva situacija i mi plaćamo danak necijepljenja, rekla je.
Na snazi su nove mjere, Radić Betica kaže da, ako se nismo držali blažih mjera, to je velik problem. Postavlja pitanje ima li dovoljan broj inspektora koji će sve nadzirati - najveći je dio na osobnoj odgovornosti.
- Omikron je tsunami svugdje, taj se broj mogao očekivati i kod nas. Najveći je problem necijepljenje, zaključila je.

- Dijelimo sudbinu cijele Europe i SAD-a gdje je sada počela pandemija omikrona. Mi još imamo problem i s deltom, na to je došao i omikron (...) Taj veliki broj oboljelih utječe i na broj onih koji su hospitalizirani jer su pomiješani delta i omikron- ističe epidemiolog dr Ljiljana Betica Radić iz Opće bolnice Dubrovnik.

Kako donosi HRT, hospitaliziranih je, dodala je, kao u drugom i trećem valu, oko 65 pacijenata na bolničkom je liječenju, a na intenzivnoj ih je 5.
- Nesretni smo jer su to u pravilu necijepljene, starije osobe s komorbiditetima. Razlog zašto su u bolnici njihov je necijepni status. Vrlo smo nesretni, rekla je.
Kaže da takve pacijente pitaju zašto nisu cijepljeni, često odgovaraju da ih je bilo strah jer su stari i teško bolesni.
- To nisu osobe s Facebooka, tu društvene mreže nisu imale utjecaja. Taj nepotrebni strah koji je prisutan kod starijih doveo je do toga da imamo tako velike brojeve u bolnici, rekla je.
U europskim zemljama u kojima je procijepljenost velika, dodala je, hospitalizacija ne prati velik broj zaraženih osoba.
- Daleko je smanjena smrtnost u ovom valu u odnosu na prijašnje. Nažalost, u Hrvatskoj nije takva situacija i mi plaćamo danak necijepljenja, rekla je.
Na snazi su nove mjere, Radić Betica kaže da, ako se nismo držali blažih mjera, to je velik problem. Postavlja pitanje ima li dovoljan broj inspektora koji će sve nadzirati - najveći je dio na osobnoj odgovornosti.
- Omikron je tsunami svugdje, taj se broj mogao očekivati i kod nas. Najveći je problem necijepljenje, zaključila je.
