Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) priopćila je u ponedjeljak da će u četvrtak održati "izvanredni sastanak" pošto je više zemalja obustavilo uporabu AstraZenecina cjepiva zbog bojazni u vezi sa zgrušavanjem krvi, napominjući da su prednosti cjepiva i dalje veće od rizika.
"Sigurnosni odbor EMA-e sutra (utorak) pomnije će proučiti informacije i sazvati izvanrednu sjednicu u četvrtak 18. ožujka kako bi izvukao zaključak iz prikupljenih informacija i predložio druge mjere koje bi mogle biti nužne", navodi se u priopćenju agencije kojoj je sjedište u Amsterdamu, u Nizozemskoj.
Nekoliko zemalja, pa tako Francuska i Njemačka, obustavile su iz opreza uporabu cjepiva koje je proizveo švedsko-britanski laboratorij AstraZeneca i Oxfordsko sveučilište, nakon prijave "mogućih" popratnih pojava, koje zasad nisu dokazane.
EMA je prethodno rekla da istražuje "stanoviti broj" slučajeva zgrušavanja krvi kod osoba koje su primile cjepivo, istaknuvši da se ono i dalje može upotrebljavati.
"Dok njezina istraga traje, EMA ostaje na stajalištu da su prednosti AstraZenecina cjepiva u prevenciji covida-19 koji sa sobom donosi rizik od hospitalizacije i smrtnog ishoda, veće od rizika popratnih pojava", istaknuo je u ponedjeljak europski regulator.
Inae, Njemačka je privremeno obustavila cijepljenje AstraZenecinim cjepivom protiv covida-19 nakon što je detektirala sedam slučajeva tromboze kod ljudi koji su cijepljeni tim cjepivom, rekao je u ponedjeljak njemački ministar zdravlja Jens Spahn.
"To je jako rijetko", rekao je Spahn, govoreći o slučajevima krvnih ugrušaka u cerebralnim venama.
"Do sada je prijavljeno sedam slučajeva u kojima se radi o trombozama u cerebralnim venama, od 1,6 milijuna cijepljenih (AstraZenecinim cjepivom) u Njemačkoj", dodao je.
"To je jako mali rizik, ali ako zaista postoji veza s cijepljenjem, rizik je neproporcionalan", kazao je.
Njemačko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je da obustavlja cijepljenje tim cjepivom nakon preporuke Instituta Paul Ehrlich za cjepiva i biomedicinu.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) priopćila je u ponedjeljak da će u četvrtak održati "izvanredni sastanak" pošto je više zemalja obustavilo uporabu AstraZenecina cjepiva zbog bojazni u vezi sa zgrušavanjem krvi, napominjući da su prednosti cjepiva i dalje veće od rizika.
"Sigurnosni odbor EMA-e sutra (utorak) pomnije će proučiti informacije i sazvati izvanrednu sjednicu u četvrtak 18. ožujka kako bi izvukao zaključak iz prikupljenih informacija i predložio druge mjere koje bi mogle biti nužne", navodi se u priopćenju agencije kojoj je sjedište u Amsterdamu, u Nizozemskoj.
Nekoliko zemalja, pa tako Francuska i Njemačka, obustavile su iz opreza uporabu cjepiva koje je proizveo švedsko-britanski laboratorij AstraZeneca i Oxfordsko sveučilište, nakon prijave "mogućih" popratnih pojava, koje zasad nisu dokazane.
EMA je prethodno rekla da istražuje "stanoviti broj" slučajeva zgrušavanja krvi kod osoba koje su primile cjepivo, istaknuvši da se ono i dalje može upotrebljavati.
"Dok njezina istraga traje, EMA ostaje na stajalištu da su prednosti AstraZenecina cjepiva u prevenciji covida-19 koji sa sobom donosi rizik od hospitalizacije i smrtnog ishoda, veće od rizika popratnih pojava", istaknuo je u ponedjeljak europski regulator.
Inae, Njemačka je privremeno obustavila cijepljenje AstraZenecinim cjepivom protiv covida-19 nakon što je detektirala sedam slučajeva tromboze kod ljudi koji su cijepljeni tim cjepivom, rekao je u ponedjeljak njemački ministar zdravlja Jens Spahn.
"To je jako rijetko", rekao je Spahn, govoreći o slučajevima krvnih ugrušaka u cerebralnim venama.
"Do sada je prijavljeno sedam slučajeva u kojima se radi o trombozama u cerebralnim venama, od 1,6 milijuna cijepljenih (AstraZenecinim cjepivom) u Njemačkoj", dodao je.
"To je jako mali rizik, ali ako zaista postoji veza s cijepljenjem, rizik je neproporcionalan", kazao je.
Njemačko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je da obustavlja cijepljenje tim cjepivom nakon preporuke Instituta Paul Ehrlich za cjepiva i biomedicinu.
