Devet hrvatskih judoka će nastupiti na Europskom kadetskom prvenstvu, koje u četvrtak, 22. lipnja počinje u portugalskom Odivelasu, predgrađu Lisabona, a među njima i jedan iz Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, Borna Butijer, član Dubrovnika 1966., pod vodstvom Stjepa Roka. Butijer nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram.

Prvenstvo je trebalo biti u Coimbri, na pola puta između Porta i Lisabona, ali je na krau preseljeno u predgrađe glavnog grada. Okupit će 413 judoka iz ukupno 39 država.

Butijer, koji nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram, početkom godine osvojio je naslov kadetskog prvaka Hrvatske. Dva mjeseca poslije ne zaboravlja se sedmo mjesto na Europskom kadetskom kupu u Zagrebu, najjačem svjetskom turniru za taj uzrast. Ostvario je četiri pobjede u šest borbi, te s ta dva rezultata osigurao mjesto u reprezentaciji.

Inače, Borna je rano počeo trenirati judo. Imao je potom stanku, a vratio se kad je Roko, uspješni judaš, počeo svoju trenersku karijeru.

- Bornu krasi ljubav prema judu. Ništa mu nije teško, a koliko i kako radi, to se vidi na tatamiju. Može držati visok, visok ritam borbe dugo, dugo. Čvrst je... – pričao je početkom godine Roko nakon što je Borna osvojio svoj prvi naslov državnog prvaka u karijeri. Inače, prvu medalju na državnim prvenstvima osvojio je 2021. godine kad je na mlađe kadetskom prvenstvu izborio broncu. Prošle godine je veliki dio sezone propustio zbog ozljede noge, ali se uspio vratiti u završnici, a taj povratak pamti po dva plasmana. Bio je sedmi u svom debiju na Europskom kadetskom kupu, bilo je to u Mađarskoj, a na mlađe seniorskom prvenstvu Hrvatske stigao je do borbe za medalju, te na kraju bio peti.

Početkom travnja bio je sedmi i na Europskom kadetskom kupu u češkim Teplicama. Ukupno je ove godine na četiri međunarodna natjecanja dobio deset od sedamnaest borbi, te ostvario dva plasmana.

Borna će na tatami Europskog prvenstva u subotu, 25. lipnja. Ukupno 32 judaša su u kategoriji do 81 kilogram. Ždrijeb je u srijedu, 21. lipnja.

Devet hrvatskih judoka će nastupiti na Europskom kadetskom prvenstvu, koje u četvrtak, 22. lipnja počinje u portugalskom Odivelasu, predgrađu Lisabona, a među njima i jedan iz Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, Borna Butijer, član Dubrovnika 1966., pod vodstvom Stjepa Roka. Butijer nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram.

Prvenstvo je trebalo biti u Coimbri, na pola puta između Porta i Lisabona, ali je na krau preseljeno u predgrađe glavnog grada. Okupit će 413 judoka iz ukupno 39 država.

Butijer, koji nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram, početkom godine osvojio je naslov kadetskog prvaka Hrvatske. Dva mjeseca poslije ne zaboravlja se sedmo mjesto na Europskom kadetskom kupu u Zagrebu, najjačem svjetskom turniru za taj uzrast. Ostvario je četiri pobjede u šest borbi, te s ta dva rezultata osigurao mjesto u reprezentaciji.

Inače, Borna je rano počeo trenirati judo. Imao je potom stanku, a vratio se kad je Roko, uspješni judaš, počeo svoju trenersku karijeru.

- Bornu krasi ljubav prema judu. Ništa mu nije teško, a koliko i kako radi, to se vidi na tatamiju. Može držati visok, visok ritam borbe dugo, dugo. Čvrst je... – pričao je početkom godine Roko nakon što je Borna osvojio svoj prvi naslov državnog prvaka u karijeri. Inače, prvu medalju na državnim prvenstvima osvojio je 2021. godine kad je na mlađe kadetskom prvenstvu izborio broncu. Prošle godine je veliki dio sezone propustio zbog ozljede noge, ali se uspio vratiti u završnici, a taj povratak pamti po dva plasmana. Bio je sedmi u svom debiju na Europskom kadetskom kupu, bilo je to u Mađarskoj, a na mlađe seniorskom prvenstvu Hrvatske stigao je do borbe za medalju, te na kraju bio peti.

Početkom travnja bio je sedmi i na Europskom kadetskom kupu u češkim Teplicama. Ukupno je ove godine na četiri međunarodna natjecanja dobio deset od sedamnaest borbi, te ostvario dva plasmana.

Borna će na tatami Europskog prvenstva u subotu, 25. lipnja. Ukupno 32 judaša su u kategoriji do 81 kilogram. Ždrijeb je u srijedu, 21. lipnja.

Devet hrvatskih judoka će nastupiti na Europskom kadetskom prvenstvu, koje u četvrtak, 22. lipnja počinje u portugalskom Odivelasu, predgrađu Lisabona, a među njima i jedan iz Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, Borna Butijer, član Dubrovnika 1966., pod vodstvom Stjepa Roka. Butijer nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram.

Prvenstvo je trebalo biti u Coimbri, na pola puta između Porta i Lisabona, ali je na krau preseljeno u predgrađe glavnog grada. Okupit će 413 judoka iz ukupno 39 država.

Butijer, koji nastupa u kategoriji do 81 kilogram, početkom godine osvojio je naslov kadetskog prvaka Hrvatske. Dva mjeseca poslije ne zaboravlja se sedmo mjesto na Europskom kadetskom kupu u Zagrebu, najjačem svjetskom turniru za taj uzrast. Ostvario je četiri pobjede u šest borbi, te s ta dva rezultata osigurao mjesto u reprezentaciji.
