Gdje ti je sine papir? - upitao je.
- Snimam na kazetofon.
- Ma to vidim, ali gdje su ti pitanja? U glavi? Dobro. Sad ću te ja vidjet. Nemoj pogriješit.
Tako je počeo razgovor s Miroslavom Ćirom Blaževićem u hotelu Excelsior. Ima tome godina i godina, početak novog stoljeća. Bila je srijeda, 8. svibnja 2002. godine. Našli smo se nakon što je sa suprugom napravio đir po Gradu. Prvo je otišao na bankomat, po solde. Potom na pjacu, podno Gundulića. Probo smokvu, dvije, te nakon toga u razgled Kneževa dvora. Kišilo je tog dana, te je đir bio pod kišobranom.
‘Vatreni’ su se spremali za SP u Japanu i Južnoj Koreji gdje su trebali braniti broncu iz Francuske, Mirko Jozić je bio izbornik, a ne Ćiro. Zagreb sa Zlatkom Cicom Kranjčarom je bio prvak s dva boda ispred Hajduka, a Dinamo treći... Na Lapadu se igrao tad drugoligaški nogomet.
Tri stranice novine nisu bile dovoljne za razgovor s ‘trenerom svih trenera’. O svemu pomalo. Danas kad se opraštamo od Ćira, valjalo je prelistati požutjele stranice...
Grad Dubrovnik je imao u početku Hrvatske lige prvoligaša. Treća prvoligaška utakmica koju je igrao kod kuće, bilo je to tek u drugoj sezoni HNL-a (prvu je kompletnu odigrao van grada), bila je utakmice s HAŠK Građanskim, momčadi koju ste Vi vodili...
- Dubrovnik je duboko u mom srcu. Tad sam došao da obiđem prve linije obrane i svi naši proslavljeni generali su me dočekali i odveli na prvu crtu gdje su naši vitezovi branili najljepši grad na svijetu. To je možda subjektivno. Ja ne mislim da je Dubrovnik najljepši grad na svijetu, ali mnogi koji su mjerodavniji od mene tako tvrde. Ja sam ponosan na to - istaknuo je Trener svih trenera.
Vraćamo se na to prvo gostovanje zagrebačkih ‘Plavih’ na Lapadu od samostalnosti Lijepe naše. Utakmica Prve HNL je završila neodlučeno, a Vi ste na toj utakmice imali veliku podršku pripadnika ‘Tigrova’. Uoči utakmice krenuli ste prema dijelu tribina gdje su oni bili smješteni. Raskopčali ste kaput. Doživjeli ste u tom trenutku ovacije. Je li ispod kaputa bio dres Dinama?
- Imao sam jedno posebno zadovoljstvo da mogu nekim posebnim gestama, elementarnim, odnijeti piće ili cigarete onim najvažnijim u tom trenutku. Tigrovi, najveći hrvatski sinovi, su za mene bili kao da su moji sinovi. Taj susret s njima je bio takav kakav si ga ti doživio...
A ispod kaputa?
- Mitraljez sam nosio. Mitraljez!
Nakon toga Ćiro nije izdržao. Smijeh doslovno do suza. Protrljao je nakon nekoliko trenutaka oči da može nastaviti razgovor, te opet smijeh. Na ponovljenu riječ ‘mitraljez’ još se jednom nasmijao.

Gdje ti je sine papir? - upitao je.

Tako je počeo razgovor s Miroslavom Ćirom Blaževićem u hotelu Excelsior. Ima tome godina i godina, početak novog stoljeća. Bila je srijeda, 8. svibnja 2002. godine. Našli smo se nakon što je sa suprugom napravio đir po Gradu. Prvo je otišao na bankomat, po solde. Potom na pjacu, podno Gundulića. Probo smokvu, dvije, te nakon toga u razgled Kneževa dvora. Kišilo je tog dana, te je đir bio pod kišobranom.
‘Vatreni’ su se spremali za SP u Japanu i Južnoj Koreji gdje su trebali braniti broncu iz Francuske, Mirko Jozić je bio izbornik, a ne Ćiro. Zagreb sa Zlatkom Cicom Kranjčarom je bio prvak s dva boda ispred Hajduka, a Dinamo treći... Na Lapadu se igrao tad drugoligaški nogomet.
Tri stranice novine nisu bile dovoljne za razgovor s ‘trenerom svih trenera’. O svemu pomalo. Danas kad se opraštamo od Ćira, valjalo je prelistati požutjele stranice...
Grad Dubrovnik je imao u početku Hrvatske lige prvoligaša. Treća prvoligaška utakmica koju je igrao kod kuće, bilo je to tek u drugoj sezoni HNL-a (prvu je kompletnu odigrao van grada), bila je utakmice s HAŠK Građanskim, momčadi koju ste Vi vodili...
- Dubrovnik je duboko u mom srcu. Tad sam došao da obiđem prve linije obrane i svi naši proslavljeni generali su me dočekali i odveli na prvu crtu gdje su naši vitezovi branili najljepši grad na svijetu. To je možda subjektivno. Ja ne mislim da je Dubrovnik najljepši grad na svijetu, ali mnogi koji su mjerodavniji od mene tako tvrde. Ja sam ponosan na to - istaknuo je Trener svih trenera.
Vraćamo se na to prvo gostovanje zagrebačkih ‘Plavih’ na Lapadu od samostalnosti Lijepe naše. Utakmica Prve HNL je završila neodlučeno, a Vi ste na toj utakmice imali veliku podršku pripadnika ‘Tigrova’. Uoči utakmice krenuli ste prema dijelu tribina gdje su oni bili smješteni. Raskopčali ste kaput. Doživjeli ste u tom trenutku ovacije. Je li ispod kaputa bio dres Dinama?
- Imao sam jedno posebno zadovoljstvo da mogu nekim posebnim gestama, elementarnim, odnijeti piće ili cigarete onim najvažnijim u tom trenutku. Tigrovi, najveći hrvatski sinovi, su za mene bili kao da su moji sinovi. Taj susret s njima je bio takav kakav si ga ti doživio...
A ispod kaputa?
- Mitraljez sam nosio. Mitraljez!
Nakon toga Ćiro nije izdržao. Smijeh doslovno do suza. Protrljao je nakon nekoliko trenutaka oči da može nastaviti razgovor, te opet smijeh. Na ponovljenu riječ ‘mitraljez’ još se jednom nasmijao.
