Upravni odbor Porina, nakon posthumno dodijeljenog Porina za životno djelo prerano preminulom Massimu, ovu prestižnu nagradu dodjeljuje i Marijanu Banu i Dušanu Šarcu.

Porin za životno djelo dodjeljuje se onim umjetnicima koji su svojim trudom, radom i uspjesima obilježili hrvatsku glazbu, onima koji su se upisali u povijest i onima bez čijeg autorskog rada, glasa, talenta ne možemo zamisliti glazbenu prošlost. Ove godine to su umjetnik specifičnog rašpastog glasa, zaljubljenik u pjesmu i more Marijan Ban i autor koji je napisao preko osamsto skladbi, aranžer, dirigent, producent – Dušan Šarac, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

„Splitsko dite, uz Dina Dvornika, Zlatana Stipišića Gibonnija i Nenu Belana, stvarao je u osamdesetima splitsku scenu koja i 35 godina kasnije rađa plodove, a njegove pjesme, nove ili stare, i dalje predstavljaju sound urBANog Splita. Uz svoga autora posve su uronjene u jedinstveni glazbeni akvatorij koji zapljuskuje Daleku obalu.“, napisao je Bojan Muščet.

Dio teksta o Dušanu Šarcu koji je napisao Siniša Škarica, kaže: „Nikad ga nije napustila potreba da prosuđuje i otvara prostor drugima, bilo kao autor, ili kao urednik. Dapače, gotovo je nezabilježen tako uspješan balans između skladateljsko-umjetničkog i producentsko-rukovodećeg u istoj osobi“.

‘Glazbena karijera na mornarski

Marijan Ban, vječiti zaljubljenik u more, kormilar i jedriličar, svoje je stihove i svoje note iz podmorja vlastite inspiracije izbacio na površinu u bliskim susretima s Dalekom obalom.

U bendu koji je osnovao 1985. pa sve do kraja inicijalnog djelovanja petnaestak godina kasnije, Ban će biti najviše prepoznat kao vokalni solist rašpastoga glasovnog izričaja. No, on je i autor skladbi koje su osigurale Dalekoj obali identitet, osobito zato jer je Marijan Ban autor koji piše na škrge. "Ruzinavi brod", "Di si ti", "Sa mi je ža", "Četrnaest palmi", "Daleka obala", "Od mora do mora" i druge pjesme s okusom mora i okusom soli osigurale su i Banu i bendu trajno sidrište u srcima poklonika.

Prvi je večernji nastup Daleka obala imala 11. rujna 1985. u kultnom klubu Epicentar na splitskoj Matejušci, a prvi koncert u najpoznatijoj postavi održan je 27. studenog 1988. u kinoteci Zlatna vrata. Daleka je obala s Banom na prvoj liniji objavila sedam albuma. Svaki album iznjedrio je nekoliko hitova i evergreena, a neki od njih imali su zanimljiv put neovisno o bendu. Tako je ‘Morska vila‘ postala himna hrvatskih rukometaša, s obzirom na veliku strast ponajboljih rukometnih pojedinaca prema stvaralaštvu Daleke obale.

Nakon live-albuma Uspomena (Sve najbolje uživo), Obala više nije bila daleka, a fanovima je ostao Ban ljetne noći. S pridruženim Diktatorima održavao je uspješne solo-nastupe i objavio samostalni album s obradama omiljenih pjesama. Ovjenčao se i pobjedama na Splitskom i na Zagrebačkom festivalu.

I plovidba bi mu trajala i danas, da nije u njegovoj karijeri zabonacalo. Tiho je sišao s pozornice vrativši se moru i uživanju u nijemom druženju. Pustio je svoje pjesme da se same kotrljaju, od mora do mora, i u repertoaru obnovljene Daleke obale.

Marijan Ban jedan je od onih koji su otkrili da u Dalmaciji nisu samo stina i maslina poetski potentni, nego to mogu biti i regatavanje, zapjenjeni valovi, brodski motori, pa čak i ruski špijuni. Upravni odbor Porina, nakon posthumno dodijeljenog Porina za životno djelo prerano preminulom Massimu, ovu prestižnu nagradu dodjeljuje i Marijanu Banu i Dušanu Šarcu.

Porin za životno djelo dodjeljuje se onim umjetnicima koji su svojim trudom, radom i uspjesima obilježili hrvatsku glazbu, onima koji su se upisali u povijest i onima bez čijeg autorskog rada, glasa, talenta ne možemo zamisliti glazbenu prošlost. Ove godine to su umjetnik specifičnog rašpastog glasa, zaljubljenik u pjesmu i more Marijan Ban i autor koji je napisao preko osamsto skladbi, aranžer, dirigent, producent – Dušan Šarac, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

„Splitsko dite, uz Dina Dvornika, Zlatana Stipišića Gibonnija i Nenu Belana, stvarao je u osamdesetima splitsku scenu koja i 35 godina kasnije rađa plodove, a njegove pjesme, nove ili stare, i dalje predstavljaju sound urBANog Splita. Uz svoga autora posve su uronjene u jedinstveni glazbeni akvatorij koji zapljuskuje Daleku obalu.“, napisao je Bojan Muščet.

Dio teksta o Dušanu Šarcu koji je napisao Siniša Škarica, kaže: „Nikad ga nije napustila potreba da prosuđuje i otvara prostor drugima, bilo kao autor, ili kao urednik. Dapače, gotovo je nezabilježen tako uspješan balans između skladateljsko-umjetničkog i producentsko-rukovodećeg u istoj osobi“.

Marijan Ban, vječiti zaljubljenik u more, kormilar i jedriličar, svoje je stihove i svoje note iz podmorja vlastite inspiracije izbacio na površinu u bliskim susretima s Dalekom obalom.

U bendu koji je osnovao 1985. pa sve do kraja inicijalnog djelovanja petnaestak godina kasnije, Ban će biti najviše prepoznat kao vokalni solist rašpastoga glasovnog izričaja. No, on je i autor skladbi koje su osigurale Dalekoj obali identitet, osobito zato jer je Marijan Ban autor koji piše na škrge. "Ruzinavi brod", "Di si ti", "Sa mi je ža", "Četrnaest palmi", "Daleka obala", "Od mora do mora" i druge pjesme s okusom mora i okusom soli osigurale su i Banu i bendu trajno sidrište u srcima poklonika.

Splitsko dite, uz Dina Dvornika, Zlatana Stipišića Gibonnija i Nenu Belana, stvarao je u osamdesetima splitsku scenu koja i 35 godina kasnije rađa plodove, a njegove pjesme, nove ili stare, i dalje predstavljaju sound urBANog Splita. Uz svoga autora posve su uronjene u jedinstveni glazbeni akvatorij koji zapljuskuje Daleku obalu.

Prvi je večernji nastup Daleka obala imala 11. rujna 1985. u kultnom klubu Epicentar na splitskoj Matejušci, a prvi koncert u najpoznatijoj postavi održan je 27. studenog 1988. u kinoteci Zlatna vrata. Daleka je obala s Banom na prvoj liniji objavila sedam albuma. Svaki album iznjedrio je nekoliko hitova i evergreena, a neki od njih imali su zanimljiv put neovisno o bendu. Tako je ‘Morska vila‘ postala himna hrvatskih rukometaša, s obzirom na veliku strast ponajboljih rukometnih pojedinaca prema stvaralaštvu Daleke obale.

Nakon live-albuma Uspomena (Sve najbolje uživo), Obala više nije bila daleka, a fanovima je ostao Ban ljetne noći. S pridruženim Diktatorima održavao je uspješne solo-nastupe i objavio samostalni album s obradama omiljenih pjesama. Ovjenčao se i pobjedama na Splitskom i na Zagrebačkom festivalu.

I plovidba bi mu trajala i danas, da nije u njegovoj karijeri zabonacalo. Tiho je sišao s pozornice vrativši se moru i uživanju u nijemom druženju. Pustio je svoje pjesme da se same kotrljaju, od mora do mora, i u repertoaru obnovljene Daleke obale.

Marijan Ban jedan je od onih koji su otkrili da u Dalmaciji nisu samo stina i maslina poetski potentni, nego to mogu biti i regatavanje, zapjenjeni valovi, brodski motori, pa čak i ruski špijuni. Upravni odbor Porina, nakon posthumno dodijeljenog Porina za životno djelo prerano preminulom Massimu, ovu prestižnu nagradu dodjeljuje i Marijanu Banu i Dušanu Šarcu.

Porin za životno djelo dodjeljuje se onim umjetnicima koji su svojim trudom, radom i uspjesima obilježili hrvatsku glazbu, onima koji su se upisali u povijest i onima bez čijeg autorskog rada, glasa, talenta ne možemo zamisliti glazbenu prošlost. Ove godine to su umjetnik specifičnog rašpastog glasa, zaljubljenik u pjesmu i more Marijan Ban i autor koji je napisao preko osamsto skladbi, aranžer, dirigent, producent – Dušan Šarac, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Dio teksta o Dušanu Šarcu koji je napisao Siniša Škarica, kaže: „Nikad ga nije napustila potreba da prosuđuje i otvara prostor drugima, bilo kao autor, ili kao urednik. Dapače, gotovo je nezabilježen tako uspješan balans između skladateljsko-umjetničkog i producentsko-rukovodećeg u istoj osobi“.
