Ponavljanje je majka znanja. Drevna latinska izreka savršeno odgovara Avataru, megahitu iz 2009. koji se zadnjeg rujanskog vikenda u modernim filmskim formatima vratio u kina kao podsjetnik na nadolazeći nastavak istoimenog ZF spektakla Jamesa Camerona. I odmah valja reći da izvornik dobro nosi godine.

Kad se premijerno pojavio kao ‘beba‘, današnji je filmski tinejdžer oborio sve rekorde gledanosti i isplativosti, donoseći u to vrijeme itekako aktualnu poruku o važnosti očuvanja harmonije prirode pred bezobzirnim devastatorima. Desetljeće i više poslije, globalna situacija u stvarnom svijetu se pogoršala, klima kašljuca a oružje grmi pa se neke mudrosti urođenika s planete Pandora čine daljim nego ikad prije.
Ne treba zaboraviti da je prvi Avatar nastao u ranom predsjedničkom mandatu ekološki osviještenog Baracka Obame i prije eksplozije steaminga i društvenih mreža koje su izmijenile obrasce komunikacije, ne samo kod mladih. No, ostavimo li po strani podtekst filma i usmjerimo li se na izvedbeni dio, brzo uviđamo kako armatura originala protokom vremena nije korodirala.
Naprotiv, visoki plavokošci iz naroda Na‘vi koje zbog rudnog blaga progone zli ljudski profiteri i dalje bude empatiju kao kad su prvi put proletjeli između visećih planina ili projahali kroz džunglu fluorescentnih boja. Vizualni dojam Avatara osvaja ma koliko mu se pokušali oduprijeti.

Dakako da repriza gledatelja podsjeća i na scenarističke slabosti poput predvidivosti fabule i plošnosti većine likova, no to ni onda ni sad nije bilo u prvom planu. Obnovljeni Avatar lansiran je s jasnim ciljem da kod starije publike probudi nostalgiju, a mlađu u blagdanskoj sezoni namami u kina.
Iz isječka koji slijedi nakon odjavne špice vidljivo je da se Cameron odlučio za promjenu medija. Umjesto utopijskih kopnenih prostranstava radnja ovaj put seli u ocean, što bi se sigurno svidjelo istraživaču Jacquesu Coustoeauu, a hoće li i novim generacijama, znat će se oko Božića.
Svakako, naziv drugog Avatara ‘Put vode‘ jasno upućuje na čemu će biti naglasak u filmu koji na velika platna vraća Sama Worthingtona u ulozi obiteljskog ex marinca, starosjedioca Jakea Sullya. Wortingtonu svakako treba ‘potisak‘ jer mu je karijera od Avatara samo klizila nadole.

U sjenu je pala i Zoe Saldana kojoj bi ponovljena uloga domorotkinje Neytiri isto mogla biti od pomoći. U dvici će se pojaviti i neuništiva Sigourney Waever, ali u sasvim drugačijem obličju, kao i glavni negativac Stephen Lang. Tvorac Avatara James Cameron entuzijastično najavljuje da će božićni sequel biti drugi nastavak tetralogije koja je čekala dok se tehnologija ne usavrši toliko da može slijediti njegovu redateljsko-scenarističku viziju.
Ambiciozan je to plan za autora koji se približio sedamdesetoj, a za sobom ima dostignuća poput preveć razvikanog Titanika, te značajno boljih Terminatora i Istinitih laži. Početnim Avatarom još nije dostigao svoje najbolje naslove, 20th Century studio vjeruje da hoće. Pridružujemo se odbrojavanju i čekamo ‘family size‘ Avatara uz bar malo čarolije prethodnika...

Ponavljanje je majka znanja. Drevna latinska izreka savršeno odgovara Avataru, megahitu iz 2009. koji se zadnjeg rujanskog vikenda u modernim filmskim formatima vratio u kina kao podsjetnik na nadolazeći nastavak istoimenog ZF spektakla Jamesa Camerona. I odmah valja reći da izvornik dobro nosi godine.

Kad se premijerno pojavio kao ‘beba‘, današnji je filmski tinejdžer oborio sve rekorde gledanosti i isplativosti, donoseći u to vrijeme itekako aktualnu poruku o važnosti očuvanja harmonije prirode pred bezobzirnim devastatorima. Desetljeće i više poslije, globalna situacija u stvarnom svijetu se pogoršala, klima kašljuca a oružje grmi pa se neke mudrosti urođenika s planete Pandora čine daljim nego ikad prije.
Ne treba zaboraviti da je prvi Avatar nastao u ranom predsjedničkom mandatu ekološki osviještenog Baracka Obame i prije eksplozije steaminga i društvenih mreža koje su izmijenile obrasce komunikacije, ne samo kod mladih. No, ostavimo li po strani podtekst filma i usmjerimo li se na izvedbeni dio, brzo uviđamo kako armatura originala protokom vremena nije korodirala.
Naprotiv, visoki plavokošci iz naroda Na‘vi koje zbog rudnog blaga progone zli ljudski profiteri i dalje bude empatiju kao kad su prvi put proletjeli između visećih planina ili projahali kroz džunglu fluorescentnih boja. Vizualni dojam Avatara osvaja ma koliko mu se pokušali oduprijeti.

Dakako da repriza gledatelja podsjeća i na scenarističke slabosti poput predvidivosti fabule i plošnosti većine likova, no to ni onda ni sad nije bilo u prvom planu. Obnovljeni Avatar lansiran je s jasnim ciljem da kod starije publike probudi nostalgiju, a mlađu u blagdanskoj sezoni namami u kina.
Iz isječka koji slijedi nakon odjavne špice vidljivo je da se Cameron odlučio za promjenu medija. Umjesto utopijskih kopnenih prostranstava radnja ovaj put seli u ocean, što bi se sigurno svidjelo istraživaču Jacquesu Coustoeauu, a hoće li i novim generacijama, znat će se oko Božića.
Svakako, naziv drugog Avatara ‘Put vode‘ jasno upućuje na čemu će biti naglasak u filmu koji na velika platna vraća Sama Worthingtona u ulozi obiteljskog ex marinca, starosjedioca Jakea Sullya. Wortingtonu svakako treba ‘potisak‘ jer mu je karijera od Avatara samo klizila nadole.

U sjenu je pala i Zoe Saldana kojoj bi ponovljena uloga domorotkinje Neytiri isto mogla biti od pomoći. U dvici će se pojaviti i neuništiva Sigourney Waever, ali u sasvim drugačijem obličju, kao i glavni negativac Stephen Lang. Tvorac Avatara James Cameron entuzijastično najavljuje da će božićni sequel biti drugi nastavak tetralogije koja je čekala dok se tehnologija ne usavrši toliko da može slijediti njegovu redateljsko-scenarističku viziju.
Ambiciozan je to plan za autora koji se približio sedamdesetoj, a za sobom ima dostignuća poput preveć razvikanog Titanika, te značajno boljih Terminatora i Istinitih laži. Početnim Avatarom još nije dostigao svoje najbolje naslove, 20th Century studio vjeruje da hoće. Pridružujemo se odbrojavanju i čekamo ‘family size‘ Avatara uz bar malo čarolije prethodnika...
